<ol>
<li>Download Fedora Workstation <a href="https://getfedora.org/" target="_blank">Download</a></li>
<li>Launch Virtualbox</li>
<li>Create a New VM by selecting Machine > New
<p>Name: Fedora Workstation<br />
Machine Folder: C:\VMs<br />
Type: Linux<br />
Version: Fedora (64-bit)<br />
Memory Size: 4096 MB<br />
Hard disk: Create a virtual hard disk now</p>
</li>
<li>Click Create</li>
<li>On the Create Virtual Hard Disk dialog
<p>Name the virtual disk image Fedora Workstation.vdi<br />
File size: 30 GB<br />
Hard disk file type: VDI<br />
Storage on physical hard disk: Dynamically Allocated</p>
</li>
<li>Click Create</li>
<li>Select the VM and Click Settings</li>
<li>Select System > Processor</li>
<li>Give the VM at least 2 processors</li>
<li>Select Display</li>
<li>Slide the Video Memory to 128 MB</li>
<li>Select Network</li>
<li>Set the attached to dropdown to Bridged Adapter</li>
<li>Select Storage</li>
<li>Click on the CD-ROM drive</li>
<li>Select the disc dropdown to the right > Choose a virtual optical disc file...</li>
<li>Browse to and select the downloaded Fedora Workstation .iso file</li>
<li>Click OK</li>
<li>Make sure the Fedora Workstation VM is selected and click Start > Normal</li>
<li>Press Enter to start Fedora Workstation Live</li>
<li>Press Escape to stop the disk check</li>
<li>When the welcome dialog displays click Install to Hard Drive</li>
<li>Select a language > Click Continue</li>
<li>Adjust the keyboard and time zone data if needed</li>
<li>Click the Installation Destination button</li>
<li>Click Done to accept the default values</li>
<li>Click Begin Installation</li>
<li>Wait for the installation to complete copying files</li>
<li>Once complete, Click Devices > Optical Drives > Remove disk from virtual drive</li>
<li>Select Force unmount</li>
<li>Click Finish Installation, the VM will reboot</li>
<li>Click Next</li>
<li>Disable Location Services and Automatic Problem Reporting > Click Next</li>
<li>Click Skip</li>
<li>Enter a name and username > Click Next</li>
<li>Set a password and confirm > Click Next</li>
<li>Click Start Using Fedora</li>
<li>Welcome to Fedora Workstation</li>
</ol>
<h2>Optional Steps</h2>
<ol>
<li>Click the Activities button > Search "terminal" > Click Terminal</li>
<li>Run the following commands to install updates

sudo dnf update<br />
sudo dnf clean all<br />
sudo dnf install dkms kernel-devel gcc bzip2 make curl<br />
sudo dnf update kernel-*</div>

<li>Select Devices > Insert Guest Additions CD image...</li>
<li>Open the Files application > Select the Guest Additions Disc > Right click in the white space > Open in terminal</li>
<li>In the Terminal window run the following commands
<div class="codeBlock">sudo sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run<br />
sudo reboot now</div>

<li>The VM will reboot</li>
<li>Upon rebooting, you can now full screen the VM and the internal resolution will automatically change to match the window size</li>
<li>Log back into Fedora</li>
