typed #{} by itself led to exception

I'm new to Clojure and the environment Cursive which apparently uses this library. I just typed #{} by itself on a line and backspace (deleted) it and the exception below occurred somehow during that flow. Now I can't seem to repeat the error but maybe IntelliJ IDEA is suppressing the exception as a duplicate or the condition is not being hit any more.
