Using the Calendar Somewhere Other Than GCal

If you don't use Google Calendar but rather use something else, you'll want to look for an option to import or subscribe to an iCalendar file (.ics) - luckily, this functionality is built into most calendar systems.

Once you've found it, you'll want to copy

https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/33pr4f8epfbl7tdf5rqv539ko0%40group.calendar.google.com/private-f4ce1a0d4eb3299a7f82e5f9bb2a0881/basic.ics

into the "website" or "URL" field of your chosen app.

Unfortunately I can't provide instructions for all of the likely hundreds of different places one could use this, but here are instructions for a few:

(note that many calendar apps, especially for phones, directly use the calendars added in your phone's settings, so you need only to add it there)
