"KCV was unable to download translations."

I were using the chinese interface, but all of a sudden i want to see how the in-game translation work, so i switched interface language to english and enabled the translate in game text option, but then the translation di not show up. I figured might be that's because i don't have translation file so i click download translation but it say it unable to. see http://imgur.com/0wK8ijD for the screen.

Maybe it don't have permission to write to KCV folder.

Game content translation isn't effected by your language setting unless you use japanese interface. (you don't need to change it to english).

Right click to KanColleViewer.exe then chose "Run as Administrator"

thanks. now it downloaded those translation, but only those item in kcv are translated instead of tgose in-game. is that intended? And also, is there any reason that make this be english-only?

Yeah, KCV don't edit data from server.
In setting file, you can change the KCVUpdateTransUrl value to use another translation from other translator or orther language.
