DOMDocument cannot parse XML: Extra content at the end of the document #6

trying to parse http://savagechickens.tumblr.com/rss and generally other tumblr feeds throws me the exception :

Zend\Feed\Reader\Exception\RuntimeException
DOMDocument cannot parse XML: Extra content at the end of the document

    private function getFeed($feedUrl)
    {
        $feed=Yii::$app->feed->reader()->import($feedUrl);
        return $feed;
    }

With the above method i manage to read varieties of feeds like:
