Get image size wihout downloading it in Python

Wanted to let you know that part of your code "getimageinfo.py" is offered as a 
solution, with some modifications at StackExchange.  I'm not sure if you want 
to integrate these changes into your file (if it offers value to your code), 
but I'd thought I'd let you know.
