What does "Yew" stand for?

My understanding is that it refers to a yew tree, because it's in-part inspired by https://elm-lang.org/ whose name is also a tree. But, I'm a rando. Maybe, it's also an acronym. 🤷‍♂️

So it seems like it's slightly related to the idea of DOM nodes, or at least, Elements when he says "I made a big list of pleasing tree names and noticed that Elm sounded quite like Element".
