Scope

Provide 24/7 user support and community management on discord, telegram and reddit.

Plan

The team will continue to provide effective and efficient support to users across the Yearn ecosystem, primarily through Discord.

The commitment remains to assist users within 15 minutes. This is a target that was met between 42-73% of the time, calculated on a monthly basis over the previous 6 months. For detailed reporting, see previous Budget Requests: ySupport #7 , ySupport #6.

In addition to answering user questions, the team is responsible for managing the Discord server. This means any scam risks faced by users are our team's responsibility to eliminate. This also means, in the event of a security incident, it is our team's responsibility to coordinate on and share this messaging.

For new and exciting product developments, we will collaborate to ensure clear communication is made on Discord, in the yearn tone of voice, to support the organisation and brand.

The team are also eager to test and deploy bots to better tackle user questions:

• Firstly, yDeposits is a tool for Yearn contributors to see the historic data of Yearn vaults. Can track asset growth and calculate APR change. This ensures users asking about yield can be helped with more precision. Live on Eth, Polygon, Arb, OP, Base now.

• Secondly, yPort gives users daily reports on their Yearn vaults. Great for privacy, as no logs kept. For users, launching on Telegram and Discord, with ENS compatibility, on the 1st October. Beta live for existing community members. We plan to explore opportunities to track more assets (yETH, yLockers) and integrate with partners over this forthcoming quarter.

The team is committed to supporting the ecosystem, such as restarting a project like yNewsletter, assisting with onboarding new contributors, and sharing our inputs for budgetary decisions. Our biggest priority remains taking security and user safety seriously.

We are excited by the challenge to grow the Discord, collaborating with other teams - particularly with MOM on design - to create a beautiful, welcoming space for discussing all things Yearn and DeFi.
