Hello,

Is Alert support planned for this plug in? When I try to add Alerts to Grafana, it says "The datasource does not support alerting queries."

Hi, nothing yet, but it's good to hear there's interest in this particular feature.

I propose to keep the issue open so we can be reminded of it. A first hurdle would be to determine if Grafana's alarms are even matching well with Yamcs' notion of alarms.

There is a new alert engine in Grafana 8, the old one will be deprecated in the future :)
