Copy-Paste creators between items

I have some items that have the same authors. One of them is generated by importing from the website (Item 1), while the other is created manually (Item 2). The other metadata is different.
I would like to be able to "Copy creators" from Item 1 and then "Paste creators" on Item 2.

I have been able to use the option Copy creators to clipboard. But then, it is not in the right format to paste the creators into Item 2.
I have also been able to use the option Copy item fields, then paste into a text editor, keep only the "itemType" and the "creators" part, and finally Paste into empty item fields on Item 2.

Is there any way to get this faster with Copy item field - Creators from Item 1 and then Paste item field - Creators into Item 2?
If this doesn't fit in the general plugin, is there any way to achieve this by adding a user defined option to the existing list?
