Allow subtitle to be edited under "Quick Edit" mode #1
Comments
This is certainly something that I'd like to look into getting into a later version of Subtitles. It was too involved for a v1 of the plugin, but I'll leave this Issue open until I've had more time to mull over a proper implementation of quickly editing them. Thanks Ram. |
Added a way to view Subtitles on Posts/Pages screens in 9fa9ec1. I'll revisit this Issue after this next release has had some time to breathe. |
+1 for this, would love to see it added in. I've been digging at the code for the past week or so off and on but couldn't get it working right. Any chance this is still on your radar @philiparthurmoore ? |
Definitely still on my radar. So much to do in so little time. I plan to hop back into development next week.

+1 for this feature too. I was close to uninstalling this plugin and trying another until I saw it was in the pipeline on this page... |
@alingham, have you seen this added into another subtitles-like plugin already? Bulk-editing and quick-edit features are in the works but haven't been worked on due to lack of asks and priority. |
Yeah. It seems that WP Subtitles does it, as does Visual Subtitles.
I don't like WP Subtitles because it has to be coded into the theme, and
Visual Subtitles hasn't been updated in quite a while...

Cool. I'll give that a look to make sure people are able to switch easily between plugins and also update have an updated README for 4.7.2 by some point next week. I also use the plugin - it's not for lack of desire that this hasn't been added in. |
Hey @philiparthurmoore, thanks for this plugin. I love such small plugins that does one job and does it smartly.
I was just integrating this plugin with one of my themes and felt the need of quickly adding subtitles to all posts, but editing all posts one by one takes a lot of time. It would be a good idea to allow editing in quick edit mode.
Thoughts?
