Adding props to waydroid.prop

I'm trying to build my own image and wanted to include a prop in waydroid.prop, but I can't see how I can get this file included in the image. The wiki mentions to only grab the generate-manifest script from this repo: https://docs.waydro.id/development/compile-waydroid-lineage-os-based-images

Is there a way for this to be included so I can define my own properties here? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Once you fully sync the source, you will find the waydroid.prop in this vendor repo. https://github.com/waydroid/android_vendor_waydroid/blob/lineage-18.1/waydroid.prop
You can add your props there before compiling
