Error when running the micro python demo code #5

Hello!
I am running the micro python demo code:RP2040-LCD-1.28.py but I am getting an error when I run it:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 722, in <module>
  File "<stdin>", line 413, in __init__
  File "<stdin>", line 440, in WhoAmI
  File "<stdin>", line 429, in _read_byte
OSError: [Errno 5] EIO

Any help would be appreciated.
