Hello,
we need to show some CMS Blocks in the menu. It is possible to add a CMS Block as a Node in the Snowdog menu, but it won't be shown. Do you have an idea or a hint for us, on how we can achieve/integrate this? Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks and kind regards
Irina

@Irinina I don't know if this will be possible. The scope of this module is to allow using the Snowdog menu to produce a menu on the frontend using completely core Magento logic. Without diving back into it, I think Magento's core only accepts a URL and Title for each menu node (see https://github.com/vseager/magento2-snowdog-menu-luma/blob/master/Plugin/Menu.php#L168).

Inserting a block/HTML would be a further enhancement to core logic and perhaps beyond what this module was intended for. I'm keen to keep the module lightweight.

I will leave the issue open in case I'm working on it and can see a simple way to achieve this as I admit it could be helpful. However, in the meantime you're welcome to fork my project and adapt it to your needs.
