Can't Delete Lines from End-of-file #77

Steps to Reproduce
- Open up a fair sized markdown file.
- Go to the end of the file.
- Select and delete a number of line from the end of the file.
- Hit ctrl-S to save
Expected behavior
- File saves and appearance in the program remains the same.
Observed behavior
- The deleted lines reappear.
