What about the intro on the left immediately do a "Click here to get started" kind of thing and that's all a person sees so it's obvious. It can then leverage the clickable dashboard options: |
That works for me - easy fix - and we definitely want to push folks towards the video that is already there. |
I just wanted to point out Jorge's comment. If we leave the Video embedded in Educates, that does increase the resources consumed for the cluster. At the moment, that is no issue but it could become a design constraint. At some point, is it better to have the video viewed prior to launched the workshop via series? One thing that would be valuable to direct the learner through the material is to have the video lecture of the content in focus when the workshop loads/launches. The advantage would be to provide orientation and prevent the learner from going through the slides offered manually via links before having the context from the instructor
