File header holds:

  • layout version [uint32]
  • root node id [uint32]

Page header holds:

  • flags byte [uint8]:
    • first [msb] bit: 0 - free, 1 - allocated
    • second bit: 0 - internal, 1 - leaf
  • cells count [uint32]
