Instead of everyone building the image for them self, it would be nice to provide the image on a registry. I know many people don't want the hassle of registering at docker hub, but github has its own registry now and it should be pretty easy to deploy the image using a workflow. The have a nice documentation and I will leave their example script, which could be adapted 1:1 as it is (or so I think). .github/workflows/deploy-image.yml:
