More mail, less fail
Changes since 6.0.19
- Minimal mode now configures Dovecot and SASL by default. (A full installation is still recommended if you are hosting mail locally.)
- Minimal mode no longer enables/configures fail2ban, as it grows quite large.
- Fix for bug in Apache module where it would wrongly report a failure on Ubuntu 16.04.
- ProFTPd config no longer requires TLS.
- Added --list-bundles|-s and --list-plugins|-p options to command line
Pro Insecurity
- Fix ProFTPd failure to write config changes related to SFTP and FTPS
Sassy Pants
This release adds configuration for ProFTPd TLS and SFTP (FTP over SSH) to the default, probably gets fail2ban and firewall/firewalld right on all supported distros (currently untested on old distros, though). And includes a bunch of bugfixes, and cleans up the organization of plugins.
More Firewalld ferreals
Detecting systemd failed on Debian 9 (maybe on other debian/ubuntu releases) due to a silly path difference. Now fixed.
Firewalld maybe works for reall
Basic firewalld configuration that blocks most stuff, and allows the basics, is functional, I think. Might be missing some ports. Needs testing.
Ubuntu works and maybe Firewalld!
This release seems to work on Ubuntu, and has a first stab at setting up a basic firewalld firewall,
Debian Works!
This release runs successfully on my Debian 8 test system (as well as on CentOS 7). Just need a bit of tweaking for Ubuntu, and 6.0 beta release can happen.
