This code, in of itself, seems fine. What strikes me is how minutely different the output formats are for the different packages and how you're having to go through so many different if conditions here. It could be useful to maintain a document that details these output format differences and what is equivalent across the multiple packages to enable easy transition across developer team members and more flexible code development in the future.
