Ability for public supporter to search for PCP for team or individual

Hi there, Thanks so much for developing the PCP for teams extension. It looks like it's exactly what I need.
I have installed in Civicrm 5.3.1 on Drupal 7.59.
I am very new to CIVICRM so forgive me if this is a rookie question.
I have set up an event and enabled PCP pages for the participants. I can also create teams and invite people to join teams.
What seems to be missing is the ability for a public supporter 9 (ie not a logged in user) to search for a particular team or participant. If this facility is present, I have yet to discover how to implement it.
Also, I had a slightly weird experience when creating a team and inviting a team member. The team member accepted the invitation and became an unapproved contact. However, it was not clear how to proceed to set up a new PCP page for the new member.
