Solr indexing issue #110
Comments
we've gotta fix this indexing and autocomplete stuff up as a student and a staff member from Eck Institute were recently assigned to a project where they need to query and retrieve from vecnet dl. |
Just an update..no solution yet. I spent an hour yesterday looking into this. I'm not sure why the search is giving these results. I was running solr queries by hand, and it seems the problem only appears when using the normal query parser, and not with the dismax query parser. I need to see which query parser the program is using. |
Can we push to find a fix before 10/23? On Wednesday, October 14, 2015, Don Brower [email protected] wrote:

@nkmeyers I ran a complete reindexing of all the content in the DL yesterday. It seems like the issue has been fixed...Can you verify? |
thanks! I'll test later today! On Thu, Oct 15, 2015 at 10:03 AM, Don Brower [email protected]

The following record does not show up in search results, but is in the solr index.
This record has title "Human Malaria Transmission: Reconciling Field and Laboratory Data": https://dl.vecnet.org/catalog/x346df85f
However searching for that title returns one record, and it is different: https://dl.vecnet.org/catalog/z890rv80b
