Has anyone else noticed that Melnor’s rain delay feature doesn’t really work any more?

Would be interested to learn how others are getting around this with integration

I noticed that if you have a water sensor, it reverts from the sensor mode to random days of rain delay which means I miss days of watering where it should. Not sure how that's happening.
