Question about emulaton

If i emulate(not virtualize) arm architecture on my m1 mac, would it be faster than emulating x64? Same goes for an Ipad with m2

Technically yes because of the fact that it doesn't need to change memory ordering. By default x86 emulation is limited to single core only but you can use force multicore to bypass that limitation at the cost of correctness.
