A frequent issue with the virtual machine, is that a shared folder could remains after an exportation to an *.ova file. The linked directory from the original filesystem do not exist in the new one and if another user open the virtual machine, a message like the one bellow is shown :

To solve this, it's easy, just remove them from the shared folder panel :
