Notifications Permissions

Recently installed v0.0.3 (thanks for the quick response BTW!) and successfully updated the app, however I noticed some non-functionality that I blamed myself for when using v0.0.2 that I now think may lie within the app.

The app never asked me for notification permissions, it only asked me for r/w access to Anki cards. When using v0.0.2 I figured I may have accidentally skipped past the screen, but again when using v0.0.3 I opened the System Settings -> Apps -> AnkiDroid Companion -> Permissions to find that Notifications had not been granted.

Equally happy to hear if this really is my fault, but I'm opening this issue as the app went through a few stages of a toast 'Generating a bug report' open my first start.

Ohh right, thanks for opening the issue!

To be honest I was also baffled by this and how many times this happened to me. Since I am not that great with Android development, I was thinking this issue was happening because of my phone settings haha

Right, so we need to fix this and let the app ask for notification permissions the way it asks for "AnkiDroid permissions". Gonna be looking at this next time I have some free time
