What needs to change?

Currently, we are using version 1 of VRX, which is targeting ROS 1. We should upgrade to VRX version 2, which does target ROS 2, but also adds new competition elements, a suite of bug fixes, and other enhancements. VRX claims to have support for setting up a ROS 1-2 bridge as well, which will be helpful.

How would this task be tested?

  1. Ensure that we can run missions with VRX 2, even with our ROS 1 environment
