Rewrite/Refactor/Verify the perception code for identifying the color pattern in the scan the code task. This may be accomplished as part of #360, but a alternative approach (perhaps using traditional computer vision methods) will be a valuable backup.

An incomplete rewrite in python using a Bayesian classified for color was started in #345
