I'm not sure if this is the right repo for this report but I noticed that if I stop the ubuntu-toolbox:
$ distrobox stop ubuntu-toolbox
and then relaunch using 'Ctrl-Alt-ut' it will relaunch the toolbox but the console window will have the error:
/bin/sh: 2: /etc/profile.d/brew.sh: [[: not found
It seems that in this scenario it is actually using dash instead of bash which does not recognize the double-bracket test.
Easy enough to fix manually but I'm unclear on the right fix upstream.
