If you're going through the effort of rebasing your image, I think it is safe to install the default set of Flatpaks without prompting.

Not sure if this should just be in some one-time-run startup script, or something else.

Related: I happened across this in the Flatpak docs today:

System-wide remotes can be statically preconfigured by dropping flatpakrepo files into /etc/flatpak/remotes.d/.

That could be a lot cleaner than leaning on Yafti to add system remotes, at least.
