Could be pretty cool to have a @ubiquity/grants repo that allows anybody to file an issue (we will have a deep issue template form to fill out) and if their idea is cool, we slap on some labels and turn it into a grant. I don't think we're in a position to give out grant money but seems like a really fast and straightforward way to give out grants.

We could possibly, using the issue template, even get them to list all of the tangible deliverables and we make the grant into a meta-issue. The child issues are each milestone. Then if they could also do a time estimate, then all we need to do is set a priority level across all of them in order to get them funded.

I guess we would just have to disable /start in that repo and everything should basically work as expected.
