We have received your submission for the token information update. However, at this point, we are unable to update the token’s page due to the lack of some information, or differences therein provided, required for our perusal.
For your reference, these are the most common reasons why an update request could not be processed:
The token’s official website is not accessible/safe to visit
There is no clear information available about the token/project
Some of the placeholders on the websites are not updated (images, links, etc.)
Some of the links provided are broken
The project does not provide transparent/clear information on its founder and team members (with supporting public professional profiles i.e LinkedIn profile or equivalent)
The sender’s email address is not the same as the token/project’s official domain
The information provided is false/misrepresentation of public entities or other projects
The token name and/or symbol may be susceptible to brand infringement
You may re-submit your update request once you have rectified the issues. It is also recommended to provide as much information as possible, (i.e. team member profiles, whitepaper, project’s official channels, etc) to support your update request. When in doubt, we recommend checking our token update guidelines here: https://info.etherscan.com/how-to-update-token-info/ (the guideline was published on Etherscan but applies to all explorers developed by Etherscan).
*Kindly take note that although we are unable to update the token’s page, all pertinent information about the token, such as transactions, token supply, token holders, etc, are still publicly available for anyone to interact with.
