@bliti: The landing page looks awesome! Great work! 😄. |
Thank you. (: |
Looks good. Maybe leave the fork badge off (the stars one is good). Maybe add badges We might need to swap out the logo on the header. Do we have permission from Twitter to use it? |
I did think about including the TravisCI badges, and did mock them up. Though the page context kept me from including them in the final mock up. This page is merely a place to direct people to other pages. The context of the badges is related to the actual code, and should belong in the repo. That way, if there is any issue, they can just visit the issues page and learn about them. Still, I'll do as you deem best. According to https://twitter.com/logo the Twitter logo is used in the right context. I have it linking to the Twitter developers page. It does not link to Tweepy itself. I thought about a logo, but did not deem it necessary. Tweepy is awesome, but it is not a brand. The library is great ( I enjoy using it), but does not really compare to a big library or framework. Unless you plan to make a brand/product out of it. Could try one out for fun, but beware, I can't very well! (: Made the mistake of doing the work on my local master branch. Going to clean it up and send off a request once that is done. I'll mock up a simple logo and open a new issue. |
Good points. Go ahead and keep the badges as is, I agree having too many clutters the page. Look forward to seeing the pull request. :) |
Pull request sent. I'll open a new thread to chat about the rest of the site. I'm not sure what other content you are looking to add. |
Hi joshthecoder, Is there any issue with the pull request I sent? |
I started working on the site and have come up with a twitter-like look to it. I'm a bit lost as to the content of the index page. There are many options that could be done, though I'm interested in what you got in mind.
I attached an image of where my style idea is going. Feel free to comment, I'm not married to it.
