Device wrong tuya category - ability to over ride config?

the first device that hasn't worked
I have a tuya managed dehumidifier
The device works find from tuya IoT console and app
Product Category kt
not sure if just switching product category would resolve? if I can what config file do I edit?

but defaults to "model": "DET", "category": "cs", in HA

according to the HA supported device list

Is there a way to over ride the HA tuya device settings? such that I could redirect tuya HA recognizing it as an CA category to be KT?
as none of the device controls work in HA.

I can however control the unit just fine from the tuya IoT dashboard
