When first installing the addin I clicked on don't install thinking it was for something else. Now I am unable to reinstall the addin or set it to trusted

It's been 12 days without a response. Is there anything that can be done to get this addin installed correctly?

If you click "Don't Install", the Outlook disables the add-in. You should be able to use these steps to re-enable it:

  1. Go to File > Options.
  2. On the left side, click Add-Ins.
  3. At the bottom, change the Manage dropdown to "Disabled Items".
  4. Click Go.
  5. Select OutlookFileDrag.
  6. Click Enable.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Click OK.

The addin does not show up in the disabled items. Only the Inactive Application Add-ins

OutlookFileDrag Disabled items

Getting the same issue, but it is inconsistent. Some users are fine, others can't keep the add-in ticked, in the COM add-ins box.
Also, is there a way to disable the Publisher cannot be verified dialog box?

I forgot a few steps in the instructions above. These are the complete steps needed to re-enable the add-in after it has been disabled:

  1. Go to File > Options.
  2. On the left side, click Add-Ins.
  3. At the bottom, change the Manage dropdown to "Disabled Items".
  4. Click Go.
  5. Select OutlookFileDrag.
  6. Click Enable.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Change the Manage dropdown to "COM Add-Ins".
  9. Click Go.
  10. Check OutlookFileDrag.
  11. Click OK.

I tested this on my PC and was able to re-enable the add-in.

The Outlook File Drag wasn't disabled, it was showing in Active Add-ins but would not stay ticked despite various combinations of uninstalls and reinstalls, reg keys switched on and off etc.
Inexplicably, the PCs on which it was not working, now appear to be working with no further input from ourselves? Not going to complain, just glad it is now working and thanks for the work you have put in.
