The bot should:

  • Make an announcement on the subreddit when a new room is added
  • Assign it the flair [New Room]
  • Create the title in this format:
[room_type] room_name - room_description

So for a recent room release this looks like:

[Walkthrough] History of Malware - Join this room to learn about the first forms of malware and how they turned into the malicious code we see today.

The TryHackMe API supports this:

  • Then it should sticky the post and distinguish as mod
  • After it has posted, if the room is a challenge room it should comment:
Per TryHackMe rules, no discussions / spoilers of this room are allowed until this comment is 72 hours old. After that you are allowed to discuss the room.

The bot should then distinguish as mod and sticky the comment.
