Depending on what you modified (you weren't very explicit) - code and/or config or ? I haven't seen any commits to your forked repo. Did you use If you need more help, more info is needed. HTH. |

Yeah, you are right. I made the fork but never modded it. I am running the OG Call Attendant. The only thing I modded is the lights, the call rejection lists, and some message files. Other than that it is stock...and I am fine with losing that...more specifically can I remove the current install on the Virtual Env, and replace or perhaps remove the VE and replace with fresh. Oh I see where you suggest a new Virt Env and running it parallel just in case...that is an idea. While I have done lots in the realm of linux, and microcontroller stuff, typically I have sort of a breakdown of steps that other people have already worked through...and seeing I have never had to do this particular thing I thought I would ask. That was over 3 years ago, and I cannot remember but I believe yes, everything I did to install the OG was through terminal and pip if I recall...I am running it on a rpi3b+. Thanks |

I will read through the wiki. Sounds like I can do a new Virt ENV and run parallel, then delete the first once the second is running well. Otherwise it would be essentially just installing it fresh. I think I can handle that. Thanks. |

Essentially I am running the OG, and have been for well over 2 years, since before the OG creator passed away.
I have modified it some for my own use, but did not do very good at maintaining any notes on my changes. IT still works, but would love to have some of the new features, and also to be more current. Awhile back when I was made aware of this fork, I thought about changing but held off because Frontier was promising VoIP for our area. I just got word that was taken off the agenda for the foreseeable future which means I would not have an alternative to turn to. SO. I would like to move to this...but I would prefer not having to start from scratch since my pi currently is running pihole and has call attendant running on the Virtual Env.
Does anyone care to share with me what steps I might have to take to replace what I currently have without total system reinstall?!
Thanks.
