This is a meta issue bringing together topic related to LAN usage inside the home.

Current known topics:

We may want our own local router to control comm to, e.g., static ip addresses for en egauge device.
How do we enable debug access in a safe way, for example, temporarily opening ports on the tailscale vpn between devices. (the answer might be that we don't).
