I'm getting an 'Exit Status 1' when running the example code for the virtualbox provider

I'm using the latest version (0.2.2-alpha.1) of the virtualbox provider, and copied this code to try it out:

This is my output for the current terraform version I'm using:

Terraform v1.3.7
on linux_amd64

I'm also currently using Nobara 36 (Fedora 36).

I would like to know what am I doing wrong? Or, what should I suppose to do?

You must use existing network interface.
You are trying to use virtual box interface. If I'm not mistaken they don't exist by default. This command shows the list of them

vboxmanage list hostonlyifs

Just try to replace vboxnet1 with any existing adapter on your machine. Or create vboxnetX interface using VirtualBox comand line or UI.

okay. i'll try that. but besides that, when i do setup with a bridge interface, it just exits with status code 1. how do i fix that one?

If your terraform state created a machine but this machine doesn't start you can always try to do it manually using vboxmanage or VirtulBox UI and check what happens. I think you'll see the same error with some additional details.
