Mixins are toggleable with GCAPI. You may just have to disable all the skin mixins through the config. Unless if you mean to say that you still need some skin fixes but also want the ears mod.

I'd be willing to make it automatically happen with ears mod. I'm just not really familiar with how to install the mod. Is it just a jar from their website or is it on modrinth?
