What is the problem you are trying to solve with this feature?
Hey,
I just want to send big thanks for tankerkiller125 for keeping this gr8 project alive. I had done many searches for my inventory needs and this project covers them all !!!
Atm I am running on 0.10 version on Synology DS923+ on Docker and I see, that the newest is 0.16.
1st thought - I would like to update it but 2nd thought - what about the db - it has more than 200 entries with links to many PDF, TXT, JPG files - redooing that all over it too much for me.
I tried a simple COPY & PASTE to the Windows version but I see that it lacks the access key that gives the following error when scanning thought the db. I guess that it's generated based on hardware and it needs it before scanning the db - simple edit of the hyperlink does not cut it.
Is there a way to copy and paste the access_token=ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUWZYXX so that I could use the db also on my PC (small NUC server) as I will shift HomeBox from Synology to Windows while upgrading to RAID array. This means all data will not be saved. Shifting it to Windows will give me access untill I (with your help) figure a way to move it back onto Synology after RAID array will be ready for data.
Another question is there a way to update the HomeBox w/o redooing the whole db from scratch ?
I am no hardcoder but did tome coding in the past - long time no see coding - but with this project - I could find time to support it (however I could) to help others upgrade.
Thanks for all the help.
Regards
Wojtek
What is the solution you are proposing?
No idea what parts of the system are beeing upgraded on Synology - if copy & paste would be enough - that'd be gr8 - which ones ?
What alternatives have you considered?
