The Suma team is proud to announce the release of Suma 1.0. After two and a half years of development and two years of heavy production usage, we feel that Suma has proven itself as a stable application with a wide set of features for data collection, data analysis, and systems management. All of your feedback has been critical to the development of Suma and we thank you.

If you are a current Suma user, please note that this release includes some changes to the way that configuration files are managed that will require a small amount of intervention before you upgrade. Bret Davidson has created an upgrade guide to walk you through the upgrade process:

If you plan on installing Suma in the future, please just refer to the installation documentation:

https://github.com/cazzerson/Suma/blob/master/INSTALL.md

This release includes many changes based on feedback from our pilot users, so the Suma installation process should be even smoother than in the past. If you give Suma 1.0 a try, please let us know how it goes! We are grateful for any community feedback we receive and we try hard to continually improve Suma.
