Problem: When I click for flashlight in this mod with Classic Lighting ON, no flashlight or lighting change is visible. The sound effect click plays correctly, the GUI Icon for the flashlight battery shows that it's "ON", but no light emits at all whatsoever and it looks exactly like when it's turned off.
When classic lighting option is OFF, aka using the mod's ray-traced lighting and changes, the flashlight works as expected.
Tried:
Tried both keyboard toggle (X default) for changing between lighting styles and also using the Escape menu GUI
Tried On/Off for every available option on Escape screen, just in case, Bloom, Muzzle Flash, etc, everything. No luck.
Tried multiple different resolutions
Tried VSync on/Off.
Tried Impulse 100 console command (Flashlight toggle) instead of bound buttons. No luck of course.
Tried normal NON-RT / unmodded version of Half-Life 1 (legitimate genuine purchased Steam install) just to verify flashlight works normally in normal version: perfectly normal.
Google searched for flashlight issues or problems with mod
Searched Issues and Discussions for flashlight
Looked in documentation for the mod on github, didn't see anything about flashlight functionality
