Scheduling

I use XDM (before that, i used IDM) mainly for downloading anime. I do an advanced schedule download of all the episodes of the serie, because those sites i use, have an easy naming schema for the files.
What IDM did was to try every file still in queue every day so, once scheduled, it was a fire&forget.
XDM does not seems to work that way. Once scheduled, if i'm not wrong, XDM tries one time the download, and stop. I have to manual RESTART it to get it downloaded. I tried to schedule the queue for an all day long work, but still it does not download newer files.

Am i doing something wrong? Is it possible to do what i was doing with IDM?

i've found that XDM does not save the schedule. If i enable it, press save then reopen the scheduler, it's disabled.
