Hello,

I did a preliminary run with my dataset, and the output assigned all of my unknown individuals to Portugal/southern Spain/northern Morocco. This was expected based on pairwise Fst clustering and Structure analysis. However, I wanted to do a second run defining a boundary, which would keep individuals from being assigned to water (these are plants). However, the run freezes almost right away.

This is the boundary that I have established by selecting GPS coordinates:
29.975160 -9.206543
43.021718 -8.85498
43.150096 -4.416504
32.344002 -3.80127
29.975160 -9.206543

How do I go about beginning to troubleshoot this?
Thanks,
-Emily

I'd start by plotting the boundary and the true locations. Make sure they all lie in the boundary.

It's ten years since I programmed this so I can't remember how the initializing is done, but that would be my next check.
