Docs says:

To start off, generate an attachment definition:
mix arc.g avatar

It returns:

** (RuntimeError) path must be passed when generating an uploader.

I had the same issue and it seems that you can run the task with a second param "mix arc.g ". Ex: mix arc.g avatar lib/uploaders.
