Much Excite!

We're very excited to finally let you get your hands on this stuff, but we just need to make sure you know...it's a beta! It's not quite finished, and we'd love to get your feedback and thoughts on just how those last things should come together to make this production ready. If it was perfect we'd be shipping it while walking on water and eating more bread than frankly anyone in their right mind should ever eat.

We're working on fixing up some bugs and wrapping up the last features and adding as much backwards compatibility as you can. If you run into an issue, error screen, show-stopping bug, or other synonym, check to see if there's an Issue already, and then fire away!

Not Ready Yet

There are a few features we decided weren't worth holding the beta up for. So while you're tinkering and experimenting, fixing bugs you find, and making merry, we're probably also working on this stuff:

  • Front-end member tags
  • Raven features
  • Automated search indexing
  • Ability to change user password in the CP
  • Routable users
  • File drivers (AWS S3, Dropbox, etc)
  • More Asset fieldtype features
  • More login/auth methods (not just email)
  • More robust cache clearing
  • Even more performance tuning
  • Running above webroot
  • Running in subfolder
  • fieldset include

A bit horribly broken

  • CP doesn't run on IIS yet. I'm sure it will soonish. Front end works fine.
