StarMessage screensaver, version history

StarMessage is a screensaver for Windows 10 and MacOS, showing the night sky, the moon phase and your messages written in the stars.
All notable changes to this project will be documented in this file.

• Under Macs and Macbooks, slow draw of the night sky background (gradient blue and starry sky).

• Under Macs and Macbooks, a diagnostic file cpccTesting.txt was saved on the desktop.

• Under MacOS Catalina, the "Blue gradient" sky background make the Mac screensaver very slow, and it appears as stuck. You must select a different sky background to avoid this.

• The StarMessage settings (your messages, selected sounds, sky backgrounds, moon information, etc) were saved in a file named "no AppName cpccSettings error no.7511.ini" instead of the correct file name "StarMessage screensaver.ini". If you update from an earlier version you might want to rename

"no AppName cpccSettings error no.7511.ini"

to

"StarMessage screensaver.ini"

• On MacOS, when installing the screensaver, a warning was appearing that the Mac screensaver "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer". The digital signature of the screensaver was fixed and the warning stopped appearing.
