Using AppImage on Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) Cinnamon desktop, latest a/o Jan 21, 2022
When I click on a 'join' link from a browser, xdg-open has no url-handler connected to the AppImage.
This has the effect that you cannot join a tribe at all from linux, you have to scan the 2d barcode from your phone's app.
Suggestion: convert to a flatpak and/or snap, or look up ways for appimage to register against the xdg subsystem. Alternately add a menu item for the functions to paste an invoice, otherwise provided through the phone-app's barcode scanner
