Error 800 in a brand new model with tables loaded from dataflows #597
Comments
Hi @bernatagulloesbrina, |
It's just import so that's why I'm so puzzled
I have set up some environment variables for some nda versions of desktop,
i wonder if that could be interfering
I'll try to reproduce the error on a dummy dataset
Regards

… Hi @bernatagulloesbrina <https://github.com/bernatagulloesbrina>,
What storage mode did you chose when connecting to the dataflow from
PBIDesktop? Import or Direct Query ?
I did some testing in both import and direct query mode but unfortunately
I'm not able to reproduce this issue on my side.
Could you share a sample .pbix file with some dummy data that reproduces
this error?

Can you try to disable the holidays in the Date table? We spot a bug in Power BI Desktop that crashes with certain DAX expressions and we are waiting a response from MS. |
the next day or so it magically worked
we'll never know what it was :D

@bernatagulloesbrina Are you using a different version of PowerBI Desktop or are you still on version |
Ok, I think that what happened is that it failed on the october version (in
my client VDI) and then it worked on my physical machine which was December
version. Makes sense now.
Thank you
